About this Opportunity:

AMSOIL INC. in Superior, WI is looking for a Regulatory Compliance Coordinator. The primary responsibility of the Compliance Coordinator is to be a functional expert in hazard communications and chemical control regulations as well as ensure legal compliance of labels and safety data sheets (SDS) of all products produced by AMSOIL. This is done through maintaining accurate and current documentation for the company’s complete line of products.

 

Requirements/Expectations:

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Corporate Safety Data (SDS) Program
  • Maintain SDS language standards consistently across all SDS documentation for AMSOIL products and derivatives
  • Update and maintain a library of label language terms and statements
  • Develop compliant consumer content for graphics on new and updated labels for AMSOIL products
  • Maintain NICE Label database to ensure current and obsolete files are managed
  • Provide compliance level training and support to the organization for requirements such as Hazcom 2012, WHIMIS 2015, focusing on US and Canadian laws and other areas as needed
  • Regularly interact with internal and external customers daily

 

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Management or other related field or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of compliance related work experience is desired
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Enjoys reading and analyzing technical material
  • Enjoys working in a team-oriented, collaborative work environment
  • Self-motivated to obtain information and expand personal knowledge
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred:

  • A working understanding of chemistry
