About this Opportunity:
 
The AMSOIL INC. International Department is looking for a Customer Support Specialist.  This position will provide a variety of customer support functions to expand the AMSOIL International Distributor network and achieve sales growth.  This will include assisting with order processing, sales support, technical information and presentations, Distributor visits and international regulations and labeling.
 
Requirements/Expectations:
 
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as back-up for order entry processing for international customers in JDE (order management system)
  • Assist with international label customization
  • Gather and analyze competitor intelligence internationally
  • Assist in answering technical and product related questions for Distributors
  • Investigate international product performance claims
  • Assist in generating leads and support key accounts
Requirements include:
  • High school diploma
  • Customer service experience is a must
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft office products
  • Must possess a positive, customer oriented attitude
  • Must be available and able to travel internationally (1-2 times/year, 7-10 days per visit)
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Ability to communicate, with tact and diplomacy, with international customers, which will include individuals from different cultures
 
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's or associate's degree in a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in an office environment preferred
  • Familiarity and practical experience using JDE, CRM or similar system
  • Technical knowledge of synthetic lubricants
  • Foreign language skills
