About this Opportunity:

AMSOIL INC, located in Superior, WI, is looking for a Promotions Manager.  The Promotions Manager will be accountable for the inception, creation and management of incentive and promotional sales strategies for all Independent AMSOIL Dealer sales channels.  This position will collaborate with IT, Marketing and Communications partners to implement promotions.  The ideal candidate for this position has strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail and the ability to make fact-based, objective decisions. 

Responsibilities/Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Design promotional strategies that influence acquisition of new, retention of existing and reactivation of dormant customers
  • Coordinate and implement all customer promotions
  • Manage the promotional calendar for all Independent Dealer sales channels
  • Use metrics to track the performance of promotions, analyze the effectiveness and buying behaviors and influence future success of promotional activity
  • Work with Communications to develop promotional graphics, offer disclaimers, direct mail pieces and Dealer communication for each promotion
  • Work closely with digital team to market promotions to appropriate customer groups through email, social media or website
  • Communicate promotions to all affected departments to ensure a smooth launch process
  • Partner with Finance to analyze post promotion conversion, revenue projections and gross margin impact
  • Provide/present timely reporting of results and effectiveness of promotions to leadership

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or marketing or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in promotions, marketing or analytics
  • Experience coordinating projects or activities
  • Proven ability to execute and administer a sales promotion program from start to finish
  • Experience analyzing data, identifying insights and presenting results
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and resourcefulness, ability to think outside of the box to provide creative ideas
  • Possess understanding of sales promotional tactics
  • Strong attention to data and detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel
  • Understanding of Google analytics

Preferred:

  • Experience with promotions management and/or internet analytics
  • Project management experience
  • Previous experience with CRM systems
