About this Opportunity:
The IT Project Manager will create, coordinate, and manage advanced level projects for organization-wide information systems as well as SaaS and web properties. This is a full-time position located in Superior, WI.

Requirements/Expectations:
Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, goals, milestones, timeline and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.

Requirements:

  • Equivalent of Bachelor’s degree in field of information technology or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven project management experience.
  • Broad knowledge of project management practices and familiarity with several key information technology areas.
  • Ability to manage projects within an Agile development framework in addition to other methodologies.
  • Solid quality assurance orientation with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze and define project scope and requirements and effectively communicate them to appropriate personnel.
  • Can adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
  • Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, contractors, and other departments.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to conduct research into hardware/software issues and products as required
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both a technical and user-friendly language
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
