IT Project Manager
About this Opportunity:
The IT Project Manager will create, coordinate, and manage advanced level projects for organization-wide information systems as well as SaaS and web properties. This is a full-time position located in Superior, WI.
Requirements/Expectations:
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals, milestones, timeline and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Requirements:
- Equivalent of Bachelor’s degree in field of information technology or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of proven project management experience.
- Broad knowledge of project management practices and familiarity with several key information technology areas.
- Ability to manage projects within an Agile development framework in addition to other methodologies.
- Solid quality assurance orientation with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze and define project scope and requirements and effectively communicate them to appropriate personnel.
- Can adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
- Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.
- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, contractors, and other departments.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to conduct research into hardware/software issues and products as required
- Ability to communicate ideas in both a technical and user-friendly language
- Highly self-motivated and directed
