About this Opportunity:

AMSOIL INC, located in Superior, Wisconsin is looking for a Dealer Compensation and Recognition Manager in the Customer Service Department. This unique position will be responsible for leading a team and effectively managing and improving compensation and recognition programs for AMSOIL Dealers. Typical duties include coordinating commission processes, auditing commission payments for accuracy, development of new business management reports, documenting procedures, enforcement of policies and monitoring/improving effectiveness of communications with customers. 

Requirements/Expectations:

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate accurate and timely monthly processing and payment of commissions to AMSOIL independent sales representatives
  • Manage a small team of direct reports
  • Manage policies and process sales/transfers of independent sales representatives’ businesses
  • Manage and improve programs to recognize Dealers for their achievements and behaviors that help to achieve their personal goals and corporate objectives 
  • Manage customer agreements and policy compliance
  • Establish, evaluate and track metrics to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of programs
  • Assist in the design of new incentive and reward/recognition programs
  • Supervise team and encourage continuous improvement of service to all customers
  • Experience leading and working effectively within teams and across the organization
  • Frequent analysis of data sets in Excel

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or analytics related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3 – 5 years of customer service experience
  • 1 – 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Advanced analytical, mathematical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Logical and efficient with a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to quickly conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; must be able to clearly articulate complex topics to individuals inside and outside the organization
  • Ability to work with senior leadership to ensure that compensation strategy and programs support business objectives and meet legal requirements
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of programs
  • Experience using advanced functions in Excel

Preferred:

  • Previous experience with AMSOIL Dealer programs and compensation structure
  • Previous experience developing and managing sales compensation and recognition programs
