About this Opportunity

AMSOIL Inc, located in Superior, Wis. is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources. This role provides leadership in support of company objectives, directs all people functions of the corporation and advises executives and senior leaders in all areas of human resources. This position is responsible for all strategic human resource planning in order to provide the company with the best talent available and create a work environment that promotes employee engagement through effective benefits, policies and communication.


Responsibilities/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Providing leadership in developing and executing human resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of:
    • talent management
    • change management
    • organizational and performance management
    • training and development
    • compensation  
Requirements:
  • A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10 – 15 years’ experience in HR field; 7 or more years in a progressive leadership role
  • Experience in corporate strategic planning and execution
  • Proven experience in HR planning, organization, and development required
  • Business acumen and superior understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to HR
  • Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills; oral, written and in giving presentations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • MBA, MA, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
