Headquartered on the shores of Lake Superior in Superior, Wisconsin, and located just over the border from Duluth, Minnesota, we have twelve distribution centers located through the U.S. and Canada, as well as international operations.

The Customer Support Specialist is responsible for providing customer service and support for AMSOIL Industrial sales efforts. This involves customer communication, order entry, supply chain support and product logistics coordination. The person in this role is welcome to work in the office or remotely from a home office.

Requirements/Expectations:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high-level of direct support with customers throughout product acquisition stage of sales cycle, both domestically and internationally
  • Respond to customer questions regarding orders, pricing, and shipments
  • Communicate inventory needs with partnering departments in Operations, Production and Distribution
  • Work directly with third party providers to support customer requirements including but not limited to; distribution, transportation/delivery, blending, packaging, stocking
  • Provide quotes to customers as requested
  • Communicate order confirmation and order status updates to customers
  • Intake all necessary information and input all quality issues into CRM
  • Create and manage price lists, ensuring accuracy at the departmental and customer levels
  • Utilizing standard templates and software, create customer specific industrial labels when needed
  • Act as a key department resource for special projects

Requirements include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 or more years of experience in a related role
  • Proven success using strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment with shifting priorities
  • Excellent problem solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally with a variety of audiences, both in writing and verbally
  • Proficient using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and like programs
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Highly self-motivated and directed

Preferred:

  • Post-secondary education
  • Experience working with ERP systems; EnterpriseOne (JD Edwards)
  • Experience working with CRM systems, Microsoft Dynamics
